Lemur’s are used as a symbol for Madagascar and for endangered animals on the island. Madagascar is located in the Indian Ocean 250 miles off the eastern coast of Africa.
Lemur’s are well adapted for climbing and are very agile in the tree tops. They love to partake in sunbathing. They eat fruit mostly but also eat leaves, flowers, tree bark and sap.
Here in this pic is the first layers that I did with mauve, black and gray.

For the eyes I used cadmium yellow and napels yellow. For the tree I used burnt siena and for the fur I mixed gray and raw umber together.

The lines in the trees took a while to draw in however/ I completely enjoyed creating this Lemur.
Have a great day!
